Outcrossing - complete female fertility (3).
Stamens - anthers almost equal in size to fertile sibs (3). The Bowman backcross-derived line msg21.q, BW556, had 70 to 85% more selfed seed set and partially male fertile segregates were difficult to identify during backcrossing (2).
