Description:
Large black spots develop on the leaf blades of nec27.ba plants and exhibit a slight increase in size as leaves mature. Older leaf blades showed more necrosis and gradually they become yellow and die (1). The nec27.bb mutant (γ08-125, GSHO 3634) is phenotypically similar to the nec27.ba mutant (1).

A gamma-ray induced mutant in Morex (CIho 15773) (1).
